Mario Taban’s brace helps Jamus SC stop Olympic Renk

Forward Mario Taban netted a brace to help Jamus SC defeat Olympic Renk FC 4-0 in a 2025/2026 South Sudan Premier League match played on Thursday.

George Rodriguez gave Jamus SC the lead after 18 minutes at the Juba National Stadium.

The Olympic Renk team stepped up and pushed forward to try and find goals, but failed to take their chances.

After recess Ugandan International Jude Ssemugabi made it 2-0 for Jamus SC after 58 minutes.

Mario Taban later netted a brace in the 67th and 84th minute to ensure Jamus SC went top of the log.

Jamus SC are now top of the table with 44 points, ahead of El Merriekh SC Bentiu who are second with the same number of points, but a lower goal difference.

Jamus SC have defeated Al Ghazala SC 3-1 to reclaim top spot in the 2026/2027 South Sudan Premier League.

Going into the match on Sunday, Jamus SC were placed sixth with 3 points after their 2-0 win against Super Stars FC in the opening match.

Ivan Wani gave Jamus SC the lead after 11 minutes at the Buluk ground. But Al Ghazala SC pulled a goal back to make it 1-1 going into the break.

In the second half Ugandan International Jude Ssemugabi returning from a long injury lay-off netted a brace to ensure Jamus SC won 3-1.

The win sent Jamus SC back to the summit with 6 points, ahead of Munuki Sc who have collected 4 points from two matches played.

Jamus SC have kick started the 2026/2027 South Sudan Premier League with a win against Super Stars FC.

Kenyan International Joe Wathira and Dialo Bandiougou scored the goals to give Jamus SC a 2-0 win in a match played at the Buluk ground on August 23^rd.

The win takes Jamus SC top of the log after El Merriekh SC Bentiu and Munuki FC kick started the South Sudan Premier League with a 2-2 draw in a match played on August 22.

Jamus SC kick started the season with a few days of camping in Rwanda, before they played in the regional CECAFA Kagame Cup where they finished in fourth place.

Jamus SC will open their 2026/2027 South Sudan Premier League campaign against new comers Super Star FC.

In the fixture released on Tuesday by the South Sudan Football Federation (SSFF), Jamus SC will face Super Star FC on August 23^rd at the Buluk playground.

Fresh from finishing 4^th at the regional CECAFA Kagame Cup in Rwanda, Jamus SC under coach Saber Ben Jabria will hope to make a good start.

“We continue to prepare well ahead of the new season. The tournament in Rwanda gave us a lot of lessons and we are ready for the Premier League,” says Coach Ben Jabria whose team defeated Simba FC 3-1 in a friendly match played today in Juba.

Super Star FC from Bor won the 2025–2026 South Sudan National League title, and earned a historic promotion to the South Sudan Premier League.

Jamus SC will take on South Sudan representatives in the 2026/2027 TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup Al Ghazala SC in the second Premier League match on August 30^th.
